How Bad Does Prince Nuada want to be Elric? LOL..

Has anyone seen Hellboy 2? I know that many have based characters on Elric but come on, how obvious is this one? It tries to be him while being someone else if you get what I am saying!

Apparently only a chosen few remember Elric well enough to see the resemblance. Google shows only 1700 mentions of Elric and Nuada together.
